The website A dream for a better world is just that, a dream for a better world. As an educator I see first hand how government decisions create the atrocities that we have to deal with. Not only in the world of education but everywhere. How can the American government allow 3rd grade students to use calculators? How can they push for more calculators in the lower grades in the pretense that it will make us better technologically? When a student multiplies 2 large numbers on a calculator and can't tell immediately that their number which is odd cannot possibly be right because one of the numbers was even, then something is seriously wrong with the educational plan. How can you not see there is a problem when the brightest minds go into the "field" because they will earn far more money than they could as a teacher? We, as Americans are falling behind and I am sorry to say that the solutions that have been put forth by the government are not a step in the right direction. It is for this reason that I offer my educational software, videos and books for free. Especially for those less fortunate, I say "take them and enjoy them." However, I hope that for those of you who can afford to pay for software you can make a small donation to help me keep producing more. I am not asking much, just a few dollars. Your contribution can go a long way plus you can help nature as well.

The American government thinks money is more important over the future of the planet. They said trying to fix the global warming would bankrupt America. So, what is their solution? "What global warming?" or "It is not man made, we can't do anything about it." Are they trying to leave the problem to our children or grandchildren? Just what happens if we start to lose the food chain? We are losing an astonishing number of species every year due to pollution and deforestation.
